How to Register for Carmel Catholic Hockey

Regular (Fall/Winter) Season

Follow these steps to register:

  1. USA Hockey: Obtain a USA Hockey Number for the current playing year
  2. Signup for Hockey on the Carmel Catholic High School Veracross Portal
  3. From "Athletics" on the Veracross Portal, select "Register for a Sport"
  4. Register for the regular season on the team Crossbar website: Register here
  5. Submit Physical to Carmel Catholic High School: via the Carmel VeraCross portal: Upload here.
  6. SafeSport: If your player will turn 17 by December 31st, they must complete SafeSport
  7. Attend the Parent Kickoff Meeting (at least one parent):
  8. WHEN: Tuesday, August 19th @ 6:30pm-7:00pm (please be prompt)
  9. WHERE: Glacier Ice Arena South Parking Lot (bring a chair)
  10. WHAT: Coach Eberhardt will walk through the season and important items.
  11. Stay and attend the Volunteer Meeting:
  12. WHEN: Tuesday, August 19th @ 7:00pm-7:30pm (immediately following the parent meeting)
  13. WHERE: Glacier Ice Arena South Parking Lot (bring a chair)
  14. WHAT: WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO MAKE CARMEL HOCKEY WORK! 
  15. Specifically, we need volunteers to help out with:
  16. Security for games
  17. Hockey Operations
  18. Uniforms
  19. Game video volunteers
  20. Event planning
  21. Senior Night Planning
  22. Homecoming Planning
  23. Team Locker Posters
  24. End-of-season banquet planning
  25. Street Scenes
  26. Etc. Please help!
  27. Evaluation Fee must be Paid PRIOR to Evaluations:
  28. CHECK for $500 made out to CARMEL CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL with CARMEL HOCKEY & your player's name in the memo field on the check.
  29. Venmo & Zelle are not available for Season Deposit.
  30. Please bring your check to the Parent Kickoff Meeting 
  31. Players will not be permitted to participate in evaluations if a check has not been received prior to evaluations.

SPRING SEASON

  1. Player must be a rising freshman or above the following fall to participate. No commitment to play in the fall is required.
  2. Complete the online registration on this site (link will be available here when registration is active).

Summer Hockey

  1. Students enrolled at Carmel Catholic High School for the following fall are welcome to play Carmel Summer Hockey.
  2. Complete the online registration on this site (link will be available here when registration is active).
